AIRpod by MDI: An Urban Car Powered by Compressed Air

It is hard to classify something as ‘strange’ or ‘weird’ in this time and age as everything that we feel is odd at one moment becomes the mundane the very next day. AIRpod is a pretty strange concept when you look at it from a distance, but as you get closer to the intricacies of this cool emission-free car, you will understand the utility of this modern commuter. Most urban commuters do not need to travel long and fast. That is why this car from MDI has a maximum speed of just 40 mph and has a range of around 130 miles. But there is a lot more to the AIRpod than that.

Unlike many electric cars which seem to have numbers similar to the AIRpod, this car runs on compressed air. So all you need is to compress air once 130 miles and then you can be off again. This is a lot greener than electric cars that need to be plugged in and it also makes for a cool new way to travel in an urban set up. The car can seat three people, but one will have to face backwards. That sounds pretty strange, but when you are going to work who really cares which way you are facing. As long as you get there fast and pollution free, it is just fine!
